Nuzhatun Nadhar is an essential commentary for the text Nukhbatul Fikar, both the text and commentary written by Ibn Hajar himself.

Sheikh AbdulMuhsin mentions in the Muqaddimah, "And the importance of this explanation is evident, that the author [Ibn Hajar] is more knowing than others of the objectives of the meanings of 'Nukhbatul Fikar' and its wordings. Hence, the author [Ibn Hajar] said, 'So I have put much effort in explaining in clarifying it and elucidating it, and drawing attention to its intricate details."
